**If Austin ISD closes school due to inclement weather, so will My Friend’s House. When Austin ISD publicly announces the time classes will resume, MFH will resume at that time as well.
EX: If AISD opens at 10 am, MFH will open at 10 am.

We observe the following holidays and closures:
* Labor Day * Thanksgiving and the following Friday * Christmas Eve through New Year's Day *MLK Day * Good Friday * Memorial Day * July 4th
* August In-service Days (last 3 days before fall semester begins)
* Bad Weather Days (if Austin ISD closes, we will also) and other days specified with proper notice
Inclement Weather
My Friend’s House CDC will be closed when AISD is closed due to inclement weather. We reserve the right to close early on inclement weather days, such as sleeting rain or ice, at the sole discretion of the MFH administration. In this event, we will notify parents via phone calls that we will be closing early for the safety of our staff and children. After notification, parents will need to pick up their children AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We understand that it may take you some time, but please remember the longer you take the worse the weather presumably gets. Thank you for your understanding with this.
Please note: **As outdoor play is essential to children’s health, all the children will go outside unless it is raining or we are experiencing excessive temperatures (hot or cold).
*No discounts from tuition will be made for holidays or other days in which the facility does not operate.
